In Moscow former medical assistant put on trial for 27 counts of sexual abuse of underage

Moscow Main Investigations Directorate of the Russia’s Investigative Committee has finished investigating a criminal case against Dmitry Zhidkov. He is charged with 27 counts of sexual abuse of underage persons and crimes against public morality, including sexual actions using helpless state of victims, lecherous actions and exploitation of an underage person for producing pornography (paragraph “b” of part 4 of article 132, part 2 of article 135 and paragraphs “a”, “c” and “d” of part 2 of article 242.2 of the RF Penal Code). In all, there were 18 victims – girls aged between 9 and 13.

According to investigators, in May 2012, the accused got in contact with a 10-year-old girl from Moscow through Skype and using her helpless state explained by her small age made her expose and demonstrate some parts of her body. The man used the same scheme with other victims. To win the girls’ confidence Zhidkov introduced himself as an employee of the Modnaya Lvitsa fashion agency.

When investigators detained Zhidkov, they searched his apartment and confiscated computers and hard drives with videos and pictures showing that there might have been similar crimes committed against other underage girls.

The investigators have gathered enough evidence, therefore the criminal case with the approved indictment has been sent to court to be tried on the merits. It should be noted that the investigators keep on establishing all the circumstances of Zhidkov’s criminal activity and identifying the victims.
