In Moscow Konstantin Tishkin charged with killing 10-year-old girl in Golitsyno

The investigating bodies of the Moscow Region Investigations Directorate of the Russia’s Investigative Committee have charged unemployed resident of the village of Malye Vyazemy, Odintsovo district, Konstantin Tishkin, 28, of crimes under paragraph “b” of part 4 of article 131 of the RF Penal Code (rape of a minor), paragraph “b” of part 4 of article 132 (sexual abuse) and paragraphs “c” and “j” of part 2 of article 105 (murder of a minor aggravated by a rape).

Tishkin has been interviewed and confessed to the crime. His testimony has been checked on the crime scene in his presence, during which the accused told how he attacked the girl and killed her savagely in the morning of 5 March 2014.

According to investigators, the accused saw a girl, let her walk past him, attacked her from behind and closed her mouth with his hand. After that he dragged the girl to the woods, hit her in her face and tried to have a sexual intercourse with her. During his actions he strangled the girl.

It was possible to find the accused thanks to a huge amount of investigating operations carried out in the shortest period of time. The investigators together with the officers of crime detection office have analyzed billing connections around the crime scene, taken over 1 thousand DNA samples from the residents of the nearest blocks, confiscated videos from CCTV cameras around the town and carried out more than 200 interviews. During the searches in the residence of the accused the investigators have found the clothes he was wearing at the moment of the crime and a lot of objects indicating his sexual deviation.

As it has been reported earlier, on March 5, at 07:30 AM, the 3rd grader was walking to the school in the village of Bolshiye Vyazmy on the path she had always taken to get there. The man attacked the girl and dragged her to the woods some 20 meters from the path. There he sexually abused the child and strangled her.

A court has ruled to take the accused in custody pending trial. Investigating operations are underway to consolidate the evidence. Investigation is ongoing.
