Expert criminalists of Russia’s investigative Committee cooperate with Israeli counterparts

On the invitation of the Israeli party a delegation of expert criminalists of the Russia’s Investigative Committee headed by deputy head of Main Forensic Office Major General of Justice Sergey Ryabov is on a working visit in Israel from 7 to 11 April 2014.

During their official visit the Russian experts are going to get familiar with activity of different expert research divisions of the Israeli Police, including laboratory of material science and trasology, DNA laboratory and databases used in it, laboratory of dactylography and contrastive analyses of fingerprints, laboratory of document expert study, ballistic and weapon laboratory. The delegation is also planning to visit the laboratory of investigatory psychology office of the General Criminology Department of the Israel Police in Tel-Aviv district, computer technical expert examination office functioning under national division Lahav 433 tasked with fighting organized crime.

During the visit there was a meeting with head of General Criminology Office of the Israeli Police Brigadier General Miriam Azuri at its General Headquarters, who noted the importance of cooperation between the law enforcement bodies of the two countries in fighting crimes. During the meeting the parties also discussed possibility of extending the bilateral cooperation, exchange of information and experience.
