The Moscow Region Main Investigations Directorate of the Russia's Investigative Committee continues investigating a criminal case against 34-year-old Head of Deputies Council in Lipitskoye rural settlement of Serpukhov District. He is suspected of crimes under part 4 of article 159 of the RF Criminal Code (13 counts of a fraud on a large scale).

According to the investigators, since January 2011 the deputy used counterfeit records from rural household registers to illegally buy ownership right for 13 land sites of Lipitskoye rural settlement worth in total around 17 million rubles, causing the damage on a stated sum.

The official has been detained. A number of investigation procedures are being carried out to ensure the evidence. In the near future the investigators are going to decide on custodial restraint .
