Alexander Bastrykin receives citizens in Moscow

Alexander Bastrykin held a personal reception of citizens on 13 August 2014 in Moscow. The Chairman of the Russia’s Investigative Committee received 12 people, including a deputy of the State Duma and residents of the Irkutsk, Vladimir, Bryansk, Ryazan, Kaliningrad and Rostov Regions, as well as of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The State Duma deputy appealed regarding diversion of funds allocated to build an ice arena in the Irkutsk Region. The most of complaints addressed to Mr. Bastrykin during today’s personal reception concerned procedural decisions made over criminal cases investigated by investigating bodies in the said regions.

During the reception all citizens were received. Following the personal reception Mr. Bastrykin gave explicit orders to heads of a number of territorial investigating bodies. Progress of reviewing all complaints and applications accepted is under personal control of the Chairman.
