The Tomsk Region investigating bodies of the Russia’s Investigative Committee have launched a criminal investigation in kidnapping of a 3-year-old girl from a kindergarten in the city of Tomsk (paragraph “e” of part 2 of article 126 of the RF Penal Code).

According to preliminary data, on 14 August 2014, about 6 PM an unidentified man took the girl from the kindergarten in an unknown direction.

An investigative group set off for the scene immediately. Investigators, police and rescuers are working at the scene. At present investigating and search operations are underway to find out all the circumstances of the crime, the girl’s whereabouts and to identify the suspect.
