Addressing the students Mr. Bastykin wished them so that they “give all their strength and knowledge which they will acquire in the cadet school among others, to service to law, good and justice and protection of legal interests of Russian citizens”. The Chairman noted that “today our country more than ever needs people who in the name of law, on behalf of law, on the orders of the State, honestly and unselfishly will guard our homeland. Unfortunately, today the younger generation still become hostages of ill-intentioned indoctrination involving some of them in extremism. And the events that are now taking place in Ukraine demonstrate that one generation is enough to raise the young people in such a spirit, without respect to their history, to the history of great Slavic civilization. This is way patriotic education of new generation of Russians is today the main mission in the Russian policy”.

The ceremony finished with a march of the students of the Alexander Nevsky Cadet School of the Russia’s Investigative Committee and giving flowers to the teachers.
