In Saint-Petersburg CEO of OOO Expo-tour under house arrest

Saint-Petersburg Main Investigations Directorate of the Russia’s Investigative Committee continues investigating a criminal case over frauds committed by employees of OOO Expo-tour (part 4 of article 159 of the RF Penal Code).

At the request of the investigators CEO of OOO Expo-tour Igor Ryurikov has been placed under house arrest.

According to investigators, Ryurikov aware that his travel agency had been excluded from the Single Federal Roster, in June 2014 in order to steal money from citizens ordered the company to continue its activity. As a result over 1 million rubles was stolen from citizens.

Charges are expected to be pressed. The investigation is ongoing.
