In Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area criminal investigation launched in death of girl of dog bites

The investigating bodies of the Russia’s Investigative Committee for the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area have launched a criminal investigation in a crime under part 2 of article 109 of the RF Penal Code (reckless homicide due to improper discharge by a person of their professional duties) after the dead body of a 9-year-old student of a Nakhodka boarding school.

On 27 September 2014, around 8 AM, the dead body of a 3rd grade student was found in the adjacent territory of a Nakhodka boarding school in Tazovsky District. The girl died of multiple bites of five dogs.

During the probe investigators are going to take exhaustive measures to find out all the circumstances of the incident and reveal reasons and conditions that contributed to the crime. The investigators will assess actions of all officials including child care providers and teachers of the boarding schools , who let the girl die.
