The Stavropol Territory investigating bodies of the Russia’s Investigative Committee during the investigation in mass brawl at a hospital in the town of Mineralnye Vody as a crime under part 2 of article 213 of the RF Penal Code (hooliganism) and paragraph “a” of part 3 of article 111 (deliberate infliction of grievous bodily harm) are taking measures to identify all the persons involved in this conspicuous crime.
According to investigators in the evening of 20 September 2014, several men got drunk and fought in Yevgenia café in the town of Mineralnye Vody. During the fight two suspects Andranik Tsakanyan and Yevgeny Smirnov hit one of the men on his head with a bottle by turn. The injured young man Roman Savechenko and his friends Anatoly Larionov and Ruslan Abdulzhalilov went to a hospital for help. Sometime later Tsakanyan also headed for the hospital and broke into it with a group of about 30 people. In the corridor they brutally beat Anatoly Larionov and injured Ruslan Abdulzhalilov and a nurse Nina Stanka.
As a result of measures taken by the investigators of the regional Investigative Committee six more suspects have been detained – 19-year-old Zaman Babayev, 20-year-old Akhmet Mutayev, 23-year-old Grant Akopyan, 28-year-old Vladimir Tsakanyan, 20-year-old Pavel Delyanidi, 28-year-old Armen Osipyan. In addition two more suspects have been held – 26-year-old Ivan Zheranov and 29-year-old Robert Arustamyan. The investigators have filed a request with the court to put Zheranov and Arustamyan in custody.
According to the investigators, the young people broke into the hospital together with Andranik Tsakanyan. Four of the suspects have already been remanded in custody by a court. Today the court will review two more requests regarding Delyanidi and Osipyan.
This way, as of today, there are 20 suspects, 14 of whom have been detained (Andranik Tskanyan, Yevgeny Smirnov, Samvel Manucharyan, Maxim Tsakanyan, Artyom Voronov, Zaman Babayev, Akhmet Mutayev, Grant Akopyan, Vladimir Tsakanyan and a 17-year-old teenager). Andranik Tsakanyan and Samvel Manucharyan are charged with a crime under paragraphs “g” and “i” of part 2 of article 105 of the RF Penal Code (murder); Yevgeny Smirnov, maxim Tsakanyan, Artyom Voronov and the teenager with a crime under part 2 of article 213 of the RF Penal Code (hooliganism).
The investigators are taking every measure to prosecute absolutely all the persons involved into this brutal and appalling crime. The investigation is ongoing.
