Investigating bodies of the Russia’s Investigative Committee in the Republic of Crimea together with the regional office of the Russian Ministry of the Interior are carrying out searches in the office of ATR TV company as part of the investigation in reckless homicide of two local residents in February 2014 during a rally (article 109 of the RF Penal Code).

It should be reminded that on 26 February 2014, representatives of authority and followers of Russian Unity party were injured during a rally near the building of the Supreme Rada of the Republic of Crimea, which was attended by representatives of Russian Unity and Crimean-Tatar nationals.

The investigators have information that ATR TV company has some videos showing the events. The videos are important evidence in the investigation, however representatives of the company refused to provide them for procession. Therefore, there are now searches underway in the office of ATR TV channel to find and seize the videos of the vents that took place on 26 February 2014.
