A court has recognized the evidence gathered by the Chelyabinsk Region investigating bodies of the Russia’s Investigative Committee sufficient to convict 21-year-old Olesya Lukyanova, who was found guilty of a crime under part 3 of article 30 and article 106 of the RF Penal Code (attempted murder of a newborn by the mother).

The court and investigators have revealed, that on 29 May 2015, Lukyanova wanting her newborn daughter to die, left her in an open field in the village of Poletayevo, where a man found her accidentally on 30 May 2015 and called an ambulance. During the probe necessary investigative operations and forensic inquiries were run which confirmed that the girl was Lukyanova’s Daughter. Lukyanova was tested and found sane.

The court has sentenced her to 2 years of probation.
