On 27 December 2015, about 12:40 PM, 4 dead bodies, including two small children with signs of violent death, multiple stab wounds were found in a house in 22 syezda street in the village of Lesnoye, Yurginskoye District. The Tyumen Region investigating bodies of the Russia’s Investigative Committee opened a criminal investigation in a crime under paragraph “a” and “c” of part 2 of article 105 of the RF Penal Code (murder of two or more people including two small children).

The 31-year-old head of the family has been held on suspicion of the crime.

According to investigators, the suspect first stabbed his ex-girlfriend and then his two children: 4-year-old daughter and son aged 1 year and 9 months and after that killed his girlfriend’s mother who came to see her daughter and grandchildren. He hit the woman several times on her head with a blunt object inflicting an open brain injury. The investigators are looking into the details and motives of the crime. Initial investigative operations are underway.

The suspect has confessed to the crime. The investigation is ongoing.
