The Ulyanovsk Region investigating bodies of the Russia’s Investigative Committee are investigating a murder of a 42-year-old local resident (part 1 of article 105 of the RF Penal Code).

According to investigators, on 26 December 2015, two local residents, one of whom was a district police officer, were drunk and beat up a local resident in the village of Staraya Kulatka, Ulyanovsk Region. They stripped him naked and left lying outside. The victim died of the injuries and hypothermia.

At present, investigative and search operations are underway to find out all the details of the crime. Charges and restraints are expected. The investigation is ongoing.
