Investigative Committee hosts reporting back meeting of NGO Union of Investigation Veterans

Today the Russia’s Investigative Committee hosted a reporting back meeting of the Regional NGO Union of Investigation Veterans dedicated to the organization’s performance in 2015 and discussion of current issues. The event was attended by the Chairman of the Investigative Committee and representatives of regional offices of the organization. Alexander Bastrykin highly appreciated the work done by the Union and its Council and outlined urgent tasks.

Namely, the Chairman asked the veterans to take part in telling about their life and professional experience in the mass media and to activate regional veterans organizations for patronizing orphanages and infant homes, to help young people, especially young superiors, share with them experience of organizational, educational and investigation work, to join recruiting leadership on sites.

Mr. Bastrykin noted successful implementation of the decision of the board of the Russia’s Investigative Committee on creation of a nationwide public association of veterans of investigation. For several years consultants and mentors from among veterans make a considerable contribution in development of young investigators by passing them their truly precious professional and moral experience they got over the years of service and the constant section of veterans supervises education of cadets at Alexander Nevsky Cadet School of the Russia’s Investigative Committee.

Mr. Bastrykin talked friendly with the veterans of investigation, thanked them for their contribution in the common cause and called on their active participation in the public life of the Investigative Committee.
