The Kirov Region authorities of the Investigative Committee continue investigating a criminal case over plotting a contract murder of a businessman from one of the regions of Russia (Part 3 of Article 33, Part 1 of Article 30, Part 2, item “h” of Article 105 of the RF Penal Code).

We remind that the other day two suspects of plotting a murder of their competitor, a businessman from Tula Region, were detained in Moscow Region. They are the owner of a large network of department stores in Moscow and Tula Regions and a subordinate of his. According to investigators, they arrived at Kirov Region, found the killer, gave him the information about the victim and part of the fee for the murder.

On 13 February, charges were pressed against one of the suspects and he was remanded in custody pending trial. The second of the suspects is expecting charges and custodial restraint.

Investigative operations are underway to find out all the details of the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
