A 4-yar-old girl was run over by a bus on a bus stop in the city of Perm on 12 June 2016. The Perm Territory Office of the Investigative Committee has opened a criminal investigation into a crime under Part 2, item “c” of Article 238 of the RF Penal Code (carrying out works or providing services that do not meet safety standards and entailed death of a person by negligence).

At present the investigators are looking into the causes and circumstances that contributed to the provision of unsafe services, a set of investigative operations are underway to find out all the details of the incident. All the witnesses of the accident are being questioned. In addition, the investigators are going to assess the actions (omission) of those responsible for the safety transport services.

The investigation is ongoing.
