The Ulyanovsk Region Office of the Investigative Committee has opened an investigation in an attack on a paramedic under Part 2 of Article 115 of the RF Penal Code.

According to investigators, On 22 February 2017, an ambulance crew arrived to attend an emergency call of an unconscious man in Stankostroitelei street in Zasviyazhsky District of Ulyanovsk. After the 67-year-old man, who was drunk, was brought round, he attacked a paramedic and inflicted the 22-year-old woman bruises.

At present, investigative operations are underway to find out all the circumstances surrounding the crime. Necessary forensic examinations have been ordered. The investigation is ongoing.
