In Khabarovsk Territory, probe launched against local resident who hit paramedic in face

The Khabarovsk Territory Office of the Investigative Committee has initiated criminal proceedings against a 28-year-old woman suspected of deliberate infliction of minor bodily harm out of hooliganism under Part 2, item “a” of Article 115 of the RF Penal Code.

According to investigators, on 29 March 2017, a suspect came to an emergency room located in the town of Komsomolsk-on-Amur and made a row: started criticizing doctor’s job and insulting them. She then came to a 55-year-old female doctor and hit her in the face breaking her nose. Paramedics called police and the woman was transported to a police station.

At present, investigative operations are underway to find out all the circumstances surrounding the crime. The investigation is being supervised by senior officials of the regional investigative authority.
