The Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area – Yugra Office of the Investigative Committee has launched a check following the report made by a resident of the town of Nyagan to the Russian President.

The woman has been living in a shift camp in the town of Nyagan built for as a temporary housing for builders more than 40 years ago. The constructions are basically unfit for living in them in northern areas while the demolition and resettling program run erratically and is too stretched out.

Investigators are going to give legal assessment to the actions of the town administration’s officials responsible for the resettling the citizens from the said housing.
