The Udmirtia Office of the Investigative Committee has launched a check following a report made by a resident of the town of Izhevsk during the live broadcast of the Direct Line with the President. The woman complained that rights of residents of an unsafe apartment building were being violated.

The woman and several more families with kids live in a bunk house in Chapayev Passage in Izhevsk. Although living in the house is not safe for the residents because of it deplorable condition, the house was not put on the 2029 resettling list.

Investigators are going to qualify the actions of the Izhevsk administration as negligence under Article 293 of the RF Criminal Code. A procedural decision will be made following the check.
