Murmansk Region investigators look into inadequate medical services provided to woman from Apatity

The Murmansk Region Office of the Investigative Committee has opened an investigation in information relayed by a 24-year-old woman from the town of Apatity during the live broadcast of the Direct Line with the President. The probe was opened in negligence under Part 1 of Article 293 of the RF Criminal Code following provision of inadequate medical services.

Investigators are now looking in medical malpractice by the staff of a hospital that may have led to wrong diagnosis of intervertebral osteohondrosis and delayed discovery of a more serious disease, while the time to treat it was lost.

The investigators are carrying out necessary investigative operations to identify medical workers guilty of the crime.
