On October 13, 2021, during investigative actions in a forest belt near the village of Zemenki, Ryazan District, the hidden body of a minor with signs of violent death was discovered. In the course of the investigative actions, it was established that his former stepfather, born in 1969, and his acquaintance, a resident of the Moscow region, born in 1992, were involved in the disappearance and death of the child. Currently, the necessary investigative actions are being carried out with the detainees to establish and clarify all the circumstances of the crime. The preventive measure is being decided upon. The progress of investigation is under supervision of the Central Office of the Investigative Committee of Russia.
In addition, media monitoring revealed a case of leaving four young children in a potentially life- and health-threatening situation - in an apartment unattended for a long time in the town of Gaia, Orenburg region.
