A representative of the Russian Investigative Committee takes part in the work of the All-Russian Youth Educational Forum "Territory of Meanings"

The delegation of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation took part in the "Security" session of the All-Russian Youth Educational Forum "Territory of Meanings".

The forum is held annually at the instructions of the President of Russia. This year, for the fourth time, it took place in the Educational Center of the Presidential platform "Russia - the Land of Opportunities", within the Management Workshop "Senezh". The event is traditionally attended by young Russian law enforcement specialists aged 18 to 35. They are active young people who outside their main work are also engaged in social activities.

The section "Security" was a part of the event. It was attended by Mr. Sergey Vasilievich Petrov - Hero of Russia, Head of the educational work department of the Russian Investigative Committee and students of educational institutions of the Department. In his opening speech, Mr. S.V. Petrov noted that the Investigative Committee of Russia is a community of like-minded, honest, determined people who execute the most important state duties to ensure the security of our society.

Then Mr. S.V. Petrov answered the questions. The discussion turned out to be very interesting and dynamic. Young people were interested in the life and career of Mr. S.V. Petrov, in his main work commitments. In addition, the young participants learned about the profession of an investigator with great interest. Their main question to the Hero of Russia was: “How to cope with the difficulties that arise during the course of your career?” Mr.Sergei Vasilyevich replied that the most important thing is to never give up. “We have knowledge and experience, but we need to learn and update ourselves constantly. Just set a goal for yourself every day, and achieve it. My motto is: “If you don't know what to do, take a step forward,” said Mr.S.V. Petrov. Then he spoke in more detail on the system of educational institutions of the Russian IC, talking about the principles of work of cadet corps and departmental academies. In addition, Mr.Sergei Vasilyevich announced the autumn Youth Organizations Meeting in which the Russian Investigative Committee will participate. The meeting will be held in Volgograd and will be timed to match the 80th anniversary of the beginning of the Battle of Stalingrad.

Answering the main question - why students of the academies of the Russian Investigative Committee annually participate in this forum, Sergey Vasilievich indicated that this is an opportunity to get to know the comrades and future colleagues, because the students will be working together with some of them. Ms. Olesya Evdokimova, a student of the Moscow Academy of the Investigative Committee of Russia, a first-time participant of this meeting, confirmed that. She noted that it was a good experience for her in matters of communication with the representatives of various law enforcement agencies.

At the end of the discussion, Mr. Sergey Vasilyevich Petrov thanked everyone for the opportunity to speak at such an important and significant youth platform. He added that such communication is always constructive and useful for the development of high moral values and correct life orientations in young people.
