Today, Beryozovsk city court, taking into consideration the reasons provided in a petition by the Sverdlovsk Region investigating bodies of the Russia’s Investigative Committee, has ruled to place one of top managers of non-commercial organization – a charity fund City without Drugs – Yevgeny Malenkin, 36, into custody as a pretrial restraining measure and when apprehended to transport him under guard to a pre-trial prison.

Regional investigating bodies reported earlier that the said man was charged with a crime under part 2 of article 127 of the RF Criminal Code (illegal deprivation of liberty committed by a group of persons under a preliminary conspiracy against two or more people) and was internationally wanted.
