During investigation of a criminal case over mass riots on Bolotnaya Ploshchad in Moscow and use of violence against representatives of the authority, the Central Investigations Directorate of the Russia’s Investigative Committee today has brought final charges against Maria Baranova. She is accused of a crime under part 3 of article 212 of the RF Criminal Code (calls for active insubordination of the lawful requirements of the representatives of the authorities, and to mass riot).

Investigators have video records clearly showing the accused calling for violence against representatives of the authority, witnesses’ testimonies confirm this information as well.

In the near future Baranova and her defender will start reading the materials of the case.
