Pre-investigating check into crash of a single-engined aircraft underway in the Krasnodar Territory

The Krasnodar Territory investigating bodies of the Russia’s Investigative Committee are conducting a pre-investigating check into a crash of a light single-engined aircraft Bekas.

It has been preliminarily found that on 18 November 2012, around 3 p.m., on the field in the western part of the village Sadovy of Belorechensky district, the Krasnodar Territory, Bekas single-engined aircraft carrying out a training flight crashed 850 meters away from houses of the village. There were two men aged 41 and 39 aboard the plane. At present it is being checked who of them was a pilot. The plane was badly damaged and the two men were killed on the spot. The reasons of the crash are being established.

At present investigators are examining the crash scene and the bodies, measures are being taken to find all the circumstances of the accident. The materials of the check are forwarded to Southern Transport Investigations Directorate of the Russia’s Investigative Committee.
