Experienced investigators-criminologists of the SK Central Office joined the investigation of a criminal case over disappearance of a 10-year-old girl in Bryansk Region

On instructions of leadership of the Investigative Committee experienced investigators-criminologists of the SK Central Office have joined the investigation of a criminal case over disappearance of 10-year-old Valeria Ustimenko. They have repeatedly examined the incident scene, assigned a number of complex expert examinations and are seizing video records from CCTV.

We remind that in the morning 28 September 2012, in the town of Dyatkovo a 5th grade schoolgirl of a local school left for school and never came back. The Bryansk Region investigating bodies of the Russia’s Investigative Committee initiated a criminal case over signs of a crime under paragraph “c” of part 2 of article 105 of the RF Criminal Code (murder of a small child).

According to one of the version the girl could have been taken by a VAZ-2105 or VAZ-2107 car. At present measures are underway to establish the car and its driver, more than 20 car owners have already been interviewed. A complex of search and investigating operations is underway to establish the circumstances of the girl’s disappearance and her whereabouts. Investigation is to be continued.
