Research and development conference: “Russia in Patriotic War of 1812” takes place in Alexander Nevsky Cadet School of the Russia’s Investigative Committee

A student research and development conference: “Russia in Patriotic War of 1812” has taken place today, on 200th anniversary of the day when the last solder of French Napoleon’s army left Russia, in Alexander Nevsky Cadet School of the Russia’s Investigative Committee.

The conference was attended by Cavalier of Alexander Nevsky Order, participant of Great Patriotic War Kirill Konstantinovich Berends, PhD of law, member of Academy of Military Sciences, Chairman of law thesis committee of the Military University of the Russian Ministry of Defense Sergey Vladimirovich Malikov, and Alexander Sergeyevich Shurinov – a descendant of a participant of Patriotic War of 1812, awarded Gold sword for the battle of Borodino.

The students of Cadet School – members of military patriotic search club Ratnik - presented their reports on the events of Patriotic War of 1812. The reports covered different subjects including activity of preliminary investigation bodies and system of law enforcement during Patriotic War of 1812.

Results were summed up the festival “Threat of 1812” and winners were awarded at the conference.

Concluding the student research and development conference, Director of Alexander Nevsky Cadet School Colonel of Justice Vyacheslav Romaykin thanked organizers and participants of the conference and expressed his assurance that the knowledge obtained during the conference would benefit in the difficult job of future specialists of the Russia’s Investigative Committee.
