In Udmurtia check launched in school poisoning

On 7 March 2014, 33 school students from 5 to 11 grades were delivered to Zavyalovsky district hospital in the Udmurt Republic in medium-grave condition with a preliminary diagnosis of acute enteric infection. The investigating bodies of the Russia’s Investigative Committee in the Republic of Udmurtia have launched a pre-investigating check in the incident.

It has been initially found that the cause of the poisoning is food from the school cafeteria. The check is underway at the moment to find all the circumstances of the incident. A procedural decision will be made following the check.
