Zhakhongir Akhmedov questioned as accused of inflicting fatal injuries to resident of Pushkino

An investigator of the Pushkino investigating department of the Moscow Region Main Investigations Directorate of the Russia’s Investigative Committee has notified Zhakhongir Akhmedov that he is charged of crimes under part 4 of article 111 of the RF Penal Code (intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm entailing death of the victim by negligence), part 1 of article 166 (illegal misappropriation of an automobile without intention of stealing) and part 1 of article 167 (intentional damage of another’s property).

The man has been questioned as the accused. During the questioning Akhmedov pleaded guilty. He confirmed that he had had a conflict with the victim about parking Leonid Safyannikov’s car, which blocked the way for Akhmedov’s car. He also confessed that they had known each other for 6-7 years.

In addition, the investigator has found that the accused was a legal migrant in the Russian Federation having a work and residence permit.

The investigator has searched Akhmedovs residence and confiscated the evidence vital for the investigation. A number of tests have been set up. Investigation is ongoing.
