Investigators of the Main Investigators Directorate of the Russia’s Investigative Committee in close cooperation with operatives of the Russian Ministry of Interior and Federal Security Service have identified all members of a criminal group that committed murders, including killing drivers on the roads in Moscow and outside.

First apprehensions and arrests have already started. One of the gang’s organizers fought back using firearms and was killed. No details about identities of the gang members are revealed in the interest of the investigation. The arms the gangsters used for their crimes has been found and confiscated. It will be processed for evidence.

A theory that the gangsters imitated crimes of the GTA (Grand Theft Auto) computer game characters has not been proved. The investigators revealed that their only motive was to steal the victims’ money.

At this point we can say that the gang operated coherently, had leaders and constant forms and methods of crimes. All the crimes were carefully planned, each members of the gang had his own role in the criminal activity. The gang acted in secrecy and had firearms and ammunitions.
