Alexander Bastrykin receives citizens in Moscow

Alexander Bastrykin held a personal reception of citizens on 12 November 2014 in the Russian Emergencies Ministry. The Chairman of the Russia’s Investigative Committee received 19 residents of the Voronezh, Kemerovo, Magadan and Samara Regions, the city of Moscow and Moscow Region, the city of Saint-Petersburg and Leningrad Region, Stavropol Territory and the Republic of Adygea.

The most of complaints addressed to Mr. Bastrykin during today’s personal reception concerned procedural decisions made over criminal cases investigated by investigating bodies in the said regions. Some of the complaints concerned improper investigation of criminal cases opened over murders of claimants’ relatives or failure to provide medical aid.

During the reception that took from 11 AM to 7 PM, all citizens were received. Following the personal reception Mr. Bastrykin gave explicit orders to heads of a number of territorial investigating bodies. Progress of reviewing all complaints and applications accepted is under personal control of the Chairman.
