Ivanovo Region investigating bodies of the Russia’s Investigative Committee have opened a criminal investigation in negligence of officials of Shuya town district administration in buying a non-residential building to house a kindergarten (part 1 of article 293 of the RF Penal Code).

According to investigators, under a state program in developing preschool education Shuya town district administration and a businessman concluded a municipal contract worth 17 million rubles under which a non-residential building was bought for a kindergarten with a capacity of 65 places.

During a preliminary investigation it was revealed that under Sanitation rules and norms a maximum of 50 people can attend the facility accepted without actual inspection by a commission of the town district administration.

The investigators are going to qualify actions of the officials of Shuya town district administration. The investigation is ongoing.
