In Bashkortostan investigation launched in failure to failure to discharge duties of fiscal agent in plant in Baymak

Bashkortostan investigating bodies of the Russia’s Investigative Committee have launched a criminal investigation in a crime under part 2 of article 199.1 of the RF Penal Code (failure to discharge duties of a fiscal agent).

According to investigators, in the period between 2012 and 2014, the officials of OAO Baymak Foundry-Mechanical Plant aware that the plant had an income tax debt and making it look like the management was efficient, failed to discharge the duties of a fiscal agent and did not transferred over 135 million rubles in the budget, but spent it for other purposes. Namely, they bought imported vehicles for the plant, paid for cars rented by one of the members of the board of directors, spent money for sponsorship and making a documentary about the plant.

At present investigative and search operations are underway to find out all the circumstances of the crimes. The investigation is ongoing.
