Altai Territory investigating bodies of the Russia’s Investigative Committee have opened a criminal investigation in a crime under article 110 of the RF Penal Code (forcible cuicide).

According to investigators, at night of 19 April 2015, two 15-year-old girls attempted to kill themselves. They were found near an abandoned building located in the premises of OAO Biysk Elevator. One of the girls died, the other was taken to hospital unconscious and with multiple fractures.

At present the investigators are looking in all the circumstances of the incident, have questioned the girls’ parents and studying personal diaries of the girls. The investigation is ongoing.
