In the evening of 14 June 2015, dead bodies of a 42-year-old man, his 36-year-old girlfriend who was pregnant and her 16-year-old son with gunshot wounds to their heads were found in a flat in Nizhnyaya Dubrava street in the city of Vladimir. The Vladimir Region investigating bodies of the Russia’s Investigative Committee have opened an investigation in crimes under paragraph “a” of part 2 of article 105 of the RF Penal Code (murder of three people) and part 1 of article 222 (illegal circulation of firearms and ammunition).

According to preliminary data, the couple was living together in the man’s flat, while the woman’s son lived mostly at his grandmother’s place. On the day of the murder he came to see his mother. The woman was going to have a baby, she was in her 6-7^th month of pregnancy.

Investigators have confiscated material evidence, cartridge cases, bullets. According to preliminary information the victims were shot from a 9 mm gun. The woman was also stabbed in the neck, shoulder, chest and stomach.

At present the investigators are considering different versions of the crime, there is a number of forensic tests on their way, investigative and search operations are underway.

The investigation is ongoing with the operative support of crime detection officers of the regional department of the Russian Interior Ministry.
