In the evening of 18 June 2015, 4 local residents were detained in Moscow Region suspected of organization and execution of the murder of a businessman committed on 1 October 2014 at a gas station. The Moscow Region investigating bodies of the Russia’s Investigative Committee launched a criminal investigation in a crime under part 1 of article 105 of the RF Penal Code (murder).

It was reported earlier that on 1 October 2014, a passenger of a car shot about three times at the driver at a gas station in Skhodna, Khimki. The victim managed to step out the car and the perpetrator shot him two more times. The man died of wounds.

By now the investigators have learned that the businessman’s fellow did not want to pay back a debt of about 30 thousand US dollars and decided to organize his murder. He found a killer and middlemen, developed a plan and the suspects them killed the businessman.

At present the investigators are working with the suspects. The court will soon decide on custodial restraint. The Investigation is ongoing.
