On 30 August 2015, the police received a report from parents of a 3-year-old boy that they son had disappeared about 5:50 PM from the yard near a single-family house in the town of Dmitrov.  In order to find out all the circumstances of the incident and to take all necessary measures to find the boy as soon as possible, the investigating bodies of the Moscow Region Main Investigations Directorate of the Russia’s Investigative Committee have opened an inquiry in a crime under paragraph “c” of part 2 of article 105 of the RF Penal Code (murder of a child in knowingly helpless state and kidnapping).

An investigative team was set up. Criminal investigators led by head of criminalistics department of the Moscow Region Main Investigations Directorate are working at the scene. Investigative and search operations are underway to find the boy. The investigation is controlled by the Head of the Moscow Region Main Investigations Directorate.
