The Komi investigating bodies of the Russia’s Investigative Committee have opened a criminal investigation against director of municipal unitary enterprise Gorvodokanal, who is also a deputy of Pechora town council, suspected of misappropriation on grand scale (part 4 of article 160 of the RF Penal Code).

According to investigators, between December 2008 and November 2014, the accused violated the rules when issued orders and later used them to get higher wages, bonuses and compensations. The enterprise suffered damage of over 2 million rubles.

In 2012-2013, the suspect concluded between the enterprise and himself as a physical person a contract on rent of a car (Toyota Land Cruiser Prada) with a crew and under it got hold of 600 thousand rubles. In addition, he used over 70 thousand rubles worth of fuels and lubricants of the enterprise for his personal needs.

The case was opened based on the materials of a check run by officers of the Economic Security and Anti-Corruption Department of the republican office of the Russian Emergencies Ministry. At present, investigative operations are underway to find out all the details of the crime, get and consolidate the evidence.
