Alexander bastrykin took part in the general reporting back meeting of the national association of investigation veterans organizations "union of investigation veterans"

On April 21, 2016 the Russia's Investigative Committee hosted the first general meeting of members of the National Association of investigation veterans organizations "Union of investigation veterans" (further NAIVO "UIV") to sum up results of work for 2015 in form of a videoconference with participation of heads of regional veteran organizations.

The following people took part in the event: Chairman of Russia's IC Alexander Bastrykin, Chairman of the National Association of investigation veterans public organizations "Union of investigation veterans" Vladimir Dontsov, Head of learning and educational work department of the Russia's Investigative Committee and Hero of the Russian Federation Sergey Petrov, Chairman of the Belarus republican organization of investigation veterans (BROIV) Alexey Lavrenyuk, heads of regional veteran organizations, investigation veterans, and employees of the central staff of Russia's IC.

In his speech the Chairman of Russia's IC particularly noted that: "Since the moment of the Investigative committee creation we thoughtfully have treat veterans of investigating bodies who dedicated all their life to Law and Justice. Your vast experience is extremely important now for young employees of investigating bodies who have chosen such a difficult job of investigator. Today the National Association of investigation veterans organizations "Union of investigation veterans" consists almost 1500 veterans of investigation in 89 regions of the Russian Federation". Addressing to the veterans of investigation, Alexander Bastrykin also added: "You creatively and enthusiastically organize sport-sanative events and solemn meetings, extend aid to children of Children's Murom House, our cadet corps in Moscow, and cadet classes of the Investigative committee in regions. On this occasion, I express sincere gratitude for done work on patriotic education of our youth to all the veterans and all the numerous employees of the Russia's Investigative Committee joins my words of gratitude". In addition, the Chairman of Russia's IC has made a proposal to NAIVO "UIV" to organize interaction with veteran organizations in our brotherhood republics of Belarus and Kazakhstan.

In the course of the meeting the participants summed up results of work undertaken in 2015, as well as discussed the priority directions of the activity of NAIVO "UIV" which include comprehensive promotion to Russian regional organizations in wide development of veteran movement, formation of approaches unity and actions of participants of the Association. Moreover, it has been proposed to pay special attention to promotion to the Investigative committee of Russia and its territorial units in staff training and retraining of personnel, as well as to participation in events aimed at enhancement of prestige of investigating service, participation in patriotic and vocational education of youth in educational Investigative Committee institutions.

After speech of Chairman of the Belarus republican organization of investigation veterans (BROIV) Alexey Lavrenyuk the Memorandum on understanding and cooperation between NAIVO "UIV" and BROIV was signed.

In conclusion of the meeting Alexander Bastrykin presented department awards to veterans of investigation: awards "For loyalty to official duty", "Veteran of investigation", "For assistance", also veteran of the regional public organization "Union of investigation veterans" Ruslan Sugaipovich Tamayev was awarded with the breast sign "Honorary employee of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation".
