The main Russia's Investigative Committee department for Saint Petersburg prior to the procuracy has commenced the question to allow for some proceedings a criminal case initiated by a preliminary investigation division of the Russia's Regional Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Primorsk district of Saint Petersburg by the signs of an offence in violation of Article 330, part 2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (arbitrariness with application of violence), having caused great public resonance.

According to mass media data, on April 19, 2016 the employee of the shop "Pyatyorochka" located on Staroderevenskaya street pushed to land an 89-year old woman, and she sustained bodily injuries as a result. The aggrieved person has been hospitalized to the hospital where necessary medical care is being delivered to her.

Investigation plans holding necessary investigations and investigative events aimed at determination of all circumstances the event happened.
