On April 22, 2016 a statement-election meeting of the Interregional public organization "Outstanding military leaders and naval commanders of the Fatherland" and an event devoted to memory of Admiral Of Navy Of The Soviet Union Nikolay Gerasimovich Kuznetsov were held in the Military university of the Russia's Ministry of defence with assistance of the Russia's Main Investigative committee department for Moscow.
The following people took part in the events: Chairman of the Russia's Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin, president of the Interregional public organization "Outstanding military leaders and navy commanders of the Fatherland", real state counsellor of justice Alexander Sukharev, Head of the Russia's Main Investigative Committee department for Moscow Alexander Drymanov, the veterans of the Great Patriotic War, the veterans and the participants of combat operations, the veterans of investigation, actor Mikhail Porechenkov, the pupils of the Russia's Investigative Committee Cadet corps named after Alexander Nevsky, the cadets of the Military university of the Russia's Ministry of defence, and other honorary guests.
In his speech Alexander Bastrykin estimated work of the Interregional public organization "Outstanding military leaders and navy commanders of the Fatherland" headed by Alexander Sukharev on counteraction to attempts of falsification of 1941-1945 Great Patriotic War history to detriment interests of our state and on publication of military-historical and memoir literature, which preserves documentations of our heroic history and shows real truth for future generations. "Our common goal is to tell the people truth, relying on verified facts, to be a reliable source of information, to show the future generations the ways Russian Great sons were serving", - claimed the Chairman of Russia's IC.
The Chairman of Russia's IC has also told that "Investigative Committee takes active part in educating young generation. For example, in the course of implementation of president program we do the most vigorous work aimed at the revival of cadet movement in Russia. The Investigative committee has taken cadet classes in Saint Petersburg, Murmansk, the Stavropol Territory, Khimki of Moscow Region, a cadet corps in Moscow under its patronage. These educational institutions allow the children of law enforcement officials who died during fulfilment of official duty, the orphan children, the children left without parental care, the children of single mothers, as well as the children from large and poor families to maturate comprehensively. In the current year a solemn event dedicated to 45 jubilees of the "Officers" film release was organized by the Investigative committee with help of our pupils, the first Jamboree of cadets (honour students and academic competitions winners) of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation was held".
The following persons spoke in front of the audience: Alexander Sukharev, head of the Russia's Investigative Committee Department for the Yaroslavl region major General of justice Oleg Lipatov, vice-President of the Interregional public organization "Outstanding military leaders and navy commanders of the Fatherland" Alihan Merzhoyev, and the others.
A popular artist of the Russian Federation, the honored worker of drama and cinema Vladimir Berezin was holding the solemn event. An election of the bodies of the organization took place in the framework of the meeting, as well as official insignia of the organization has been confirmed. The Moscow Interregional public organization "Outstanding military leaders and naval commanders of the Fatherland" expressed special gratitude to the Russian Ministry of Defence and leadership of the Military university.
In conclusion of the event the veterans of the Great Patriotic War and veterans of combat operations were awarded with department awards and commemorative gifts by the Chairman of Russia's IC. In his turn Alexander Sukharev presented Alexander Bastrykin the order "For loyalty to the Fatherland of the 1st degree" from the Interregional public organization "Outstanding military leaders and navy commanders of the Fatherland".
Inter alia, today the participants of the meeting laid wreaths to the grave of Admiral Of Navy Of The Soviet Union Nikolay Gerasimovich Kuznetsov.
