Due to different versions on the motives of an attack on bass-guitarist of the "Lyube" band Pavel Usanov appeared in mass media, I must clarify the Investigative committee has just accepted this criminal case for its proceedings after it was requalified for more capital article of the Criminal code.

Certainly, all versions of what happened will be verified in the framework of investigation, but it is premature to make unambiguous conclusions about the crime motive and its circumstances at this point. Moreover, now the investigation can state the version that the conflict was based on difference in views on a situation in the Donbass as groundless one. A version of a conflict based on personal disaffection is being checked. Ultimately the causes and the motives of the committed crime will be established based on the results of the whole investigative actions complex and receipt of results of necessary expert examinations.

I can assure, whatever crime motives are, investigation will analyze it objectively and comprehensively and the results of investigation will be announced for sure.
