After the opening ceremony of the second cadet gathering of Stavropol gymnasium No 24, the Chairman of the Investigative Committee has held a meeting attended by Vice-Chairman of the Investigative Committee Boris Karnaukhov, heads of the North Caucasus Federal District Directorate and investigative authorities in the District.

The Chairman heard reports on the progress and results of investigations conducted by the North Caucasus Federal District Directorate and investigative authorities for Stavropol Territory, Dagestan, Ingushetia and Chechnya. The heads of the said investigative authorities also made reports on the performance in the first quarter of 2017.

Mr. Bastrykin gave a number of explicit orders and instructions for more efficient and quick investigations and for improved work in primary areas of the North Caucasus Federal District investigative authorities in general.
