The Khabarovsk Territory office of the Investigative Committee has opened an investigation in failure to pay wages for more than 2 months under part 2 of Article 145.1 of the RF penal Code.

According to investigators, from November 2016 to March 2017, the management of a wood-processing enterprise failed to pay wages to its workers. According to preliminary information, the debt to 61 workers and 28 former workers stands at almost 15 million rubles.

At present, investigative operations are underway to find out all the circumstances surrounding the crime, including the exact number of the injured parties and the sum of debt to each of the workers. The investigation is ongoing.

Protecting rights of workers is one of priorities of the Investigative Committee. Each dishonest director who violates rights of workers will be brought to justice.
