Chairman of the IC of Russia Instructs to Investigate New Criminal Actions Perpetrated by Ukrainian Armed Forces in Donbass and Rostov Oblast

Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation Alexander Ivanovich Bastrykin instructed the Main Investigative Department of the IC of Russia to investigate the circumstances of the destruction of the FSB border guards' duty location in Rostov Oblast as a result of a hit with a shell fired from the Ukrainian territory, as well as death of a civilian and shelling of two schools in Donbass.

According to the FSB of Russia, on February 21, 2022, at 9:50, an unidentified shell fired from the Ukrainian territory completely destroyed the duty location of the border guards of the Border Department of the FSB of Russia in Rostov Oblast, which was situated in about 150 meters from the Russian-Ukrainian border. Sappers are working on the site.

In addition, the People's Militia of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic reported that a civilian miner died at a public transport stop as a result of Ukrainian Armed Forces' shelling of the Trudovskaya Mine village.

In addition, the Ukrainian Armed Forces fired at two schools located in Petrovsky and Kievsky Districts of Donetsk.

A. I. Bastrykin instructed the investigators of the Main Investigative Department of the IC of Russia to establish all the circumstances of these incidents within criminal cases.
