Course of investigation of case over 6 May mass riots of Bolotnaya Ploshchad in Moscow

The Main Investigations Directorate of the Russia’s Investigative Committee continues to investigate criminal case over mass riots on Bolotnaya Ploshchad in Moscow on 6 May.

Today Basmanny court of Moscow has chosen a preventive punishment under the request of investigators for the accused Oleg Arkhipenkov and Richar Sobolev – they will be taken into custody. At present the court is considering one more arrest request against three more suspects: Vladimir Akimenkov, Artyom Savelov and Alexandr Kamensky.

Within the case investigators continue to examine objects and documents seized from the flats of Sergey Udaltsov, Aleksey Navalny, Ilya Yashin and Ksenia Sobchak. Examination of the money seized from sobchak is not finished yet due to large amount and the necessity of authenticity expertize.
