Progress of investigation into attack on football fan Aleksey Usachov near Evropeisky shopping center and infliction of injuries to policemen during search in student hostel

Investigative bodies of Moscow city Main Investigations Directorate of the Russia’s Investigative Committee continue investigation of a criminal case over an attack on Aleksey Usachov near Evropeisky shopping center as well as in connection with the use of violence against policemen during the search.

Within the framework of this criminal case 22-year-old Bekhan Rezvanov is charged with a crime under part 3 of article 30, part 2 of article 105 of the RF Criminal Code (attempted murder of hooliganism interests). On the request of the investigator he was taken into custody. Despite the irrefutable evidence of his complicity in the crime, the accused did not admit his guilt duritn investigation operations.

In addition his 21 year-old accomplice Magomed Eldiev who had disappeared from the scene, is charge in absentia with a crime under part 3 of article 30, part 2 of article 105 of the RF Criminal Code (attempted murder of hooliganism interests). The court in absentia has ruled to take him into custody. At present he is put on International wanted list. It has been found that, Eldiev worked as a specialist of bailiff service in Zamoskvoretsky district court and was responsible for order in the court hall and security of judges and participants of the trial.

During the search in the room of the dormitory where ELdiev had lived the investigators seized a traumatic gun. During the search, three students of the Academy: Mayerbek Islamov, Alkhazur Magamaev and Khabib Ibragimov offered resistance to lawful actions by the policemen and injured the officers of Riot Police of the Moscow Main Directorate of the Russia’s Interior Ministry. The actions are qualified by investigators as a crime under part 1 of article 318 of the RF Criminal Code (use of violence against representatives of the authority). on the request of the investigator the men are put into custody.
