Check is being carried out in the Moscow region on the fact of a road traffic incident with the involvement of a police officer

August 9, 2012 approximately at 16 hours and 20 minutes a road traffic incident occurred on the 1st km of the road Chekhov-Kresty, as a result of which "Toyota Camry" driven by the Russian Interior Ministry employee, who was on vacation, and a scooter "Geely" driven by a local resident, collided. As a result of the road traffic incident the driver and passenger of the scooter were hospitalized. On this fact, the investigating authorities of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation in the Moscow Region have organized a check.

According to preliminary data, the driver of the scooter had crossed into the oncoming lane.

Currently the forensic examination is assigned to establish the severity of injury, as well as the presence of alcohol intoxication among the participants of road traffic incidents. The necessary arrangements to establish all the circumstances of the accident are being carried out.
